+ How does bouldering work?

Bouldering is climbing without ropes over safety mats. Your goal is to climb from the start of a route to the top.

  • The start and top are marked by colorful triangular cards attached next to the handles.
  • The color of the triangle indicates the difficulty level of the route.
  • To start, place both hands on the start handle (there may also be two start handles).
  • To climb a route, make sure you only touch holds that are the same color as the starting hold.
  • You can also use "volumes." They are included in almost all routes. Volumes are made of wood (like the walls) and can be recognized by the holes for the holds.
  • To finish the route, place both hands on the finish handle.
  • When you reach the top, use the large descent handles to get back down safely.
    Don't just jump down!

+ Are there any rules?

  1. No running on the mats.
  2. Don't just sit on the mats.
  3. No climbing without climbing shoes.
  4. No climbing shoes in the restrooms, changing rooms, or café.
  5. No food or drinks on the bouldering mats.
  6. In addition, our terms and conditions, please familiarize yourself with these before your visit.

    + What do I need to bring with me?

    Comfortable clothing is all you need. You can borrow climbing shoes and chalk from us (Information here).

+ Are children allowed to boulder at your facility?

Absolutely. We have two special areas for children aged 3 to 7. Children aged 8 and above can climb in Blocland, which is shared with adults. Children aged 14 and above can climb in the main area if accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, children under the age of 3 are not permitted in our hall. Do you have lockers?

Yes. You can either bring your own padlock or borrow one at the counter for a deposit.
